This is the customizable version of the Candlekeep Library sign. Here, you will be able to:

• Choose your own text

• Have a custom engraving on the center shield (you provide artwork) with 2 yellow flourishes on either side

  (OR)

• Instead of a shield engraving and flourishes, you can have an engraved birch plaque with a design of your choice (you provide simple artwork)

  The following elements will remain the same as the original.

  • Worn black background with yellow text.

  • Outer yellow border recessed into the sign, and the background and edges are intentionally distressed to look old and weathered.

  • Bavarian/Gothic style font. Upper text is more elaborate, and lower font is a gothic block style

  • The text, shield/plaque and flourishes are all separate cutouts that are glued to the top of the sign.

  • Horizontal crossbars at the top and bottom of the sign, with brass hardware tacks attached

  • A black chain anchored to the top

  • Finished with around 3 coats of spray lacquer. For indoor use only.

  • Approximate dimensions: 18 1/2” wide x 20” long x 1 1/2” thick (at crossbars)
