Worn black background with yellow trim and text. The outer yellow border is recessed into the sign, and the background and edges are intentionally distressed by hand to look old and weathered. As every sign is made by hand, no two will be exactly alike, and the worn features will vary from piece to piece.

A wooden engraved shield features the logo of Candlekeep and is flanked by 2 flourishes on each side of the shield. All of these features rest on top of the sign, and the 2 horizontal bars at the top and bottom of the sign have brass hardware nails that provide depth and dimension.

Finally, a black chain is affixed to the top to complete the tavern look and provide easy hanging on a wall or a bracket.
