If you're familiar with The World Serpent Inn, you may recognize it from a lesser-known establishment from AD&D. Located in Cormyr in Faerun, it was fabled to be a way to travel between the planes, but it is also a subtle nod to Norse Mythology as well.

Of course, you can personalize your own sign to hang in your game room, bar or just about any room you like.

Each sign is hand cut into the shape of a rustic and weathered shield, complete with wear and tear from the weather and the battlefield. Several round hardware nails adorn the outer border, and a chain is attached to the top for easy hanging. The letters are painted and then laser cut out and attached to the sign with industrial strength adhesive. The bottom "inn" plaque has engraved details and the letters removed for a relief cut look.

Now for the fun part: making it your own!
You'll have 4 lines of text to fill, though most designs look best with a definite article (the THE text) as line 1, and for the plaque at the end, either the business type (INN), a location (WATERDEEP) or a date of origin (2013) Example:

1) THE (looks best in caps)
2) Cloak &
3) Stagger
4) INN (caps)

This is certainly not a hard rule, so if you have a layout you'd like to try, just message me and I'll let you know what I think and even get you a mock up if you'd like. Do be sure to follow the personalization instructions accurately and enter in the text exactly how you'd like it to appear.
